Garden Playground Equipment shopping cart update

Well, I'm pleased to say that the testing has all gone smoothly so far. With only a couple of tiny changes having to be made over the last couple of days all that remains to be done is wait until tomorrow and see if the test purchases for the climbing frames hit my own bank statement. If everything is ok then the front page will be updated to show some climbing frames, forts, swing sets etc. and then thats it ! The site is live.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Garden Playground Equipment - Site maintainence

For some time now the site has been complete, apart from the integration and testing of the merchant account facility. This has been held up by the unbelievably long amount of time that we have had to wait to get the merchant account (I'm not mentioning the name of the company involved), coupled with the fact that they gave wrong information regarding the setup in relation to the payment processor. This delayed things by a further few weeks.

Anyway, starting today the integration and testing will finally start. During this period if anyone wishes to buy any products, climbing frames, forts, swings etc. then please contact me so that I can make arrangements for you to do so. The integration and testing is likely to take around 2 weeks from today and every product (climbing frames, forts, swings, monkey bars etc.) will all be subjected to rigorous testing.

A notice will be posted here and also on the front page of Garden Playground Equipment when testing is complete.

Introduction

I am creating this news blog so that I can easily keep customers up to date with what is happening with Garden-Playground-Equipment.co.uk in terms of :

• Changes to the web site, both current and planned.
• Special offers which we may be running.
• Ebay auctions which we may hold every now and then, enabling you to have the chance to buy at an even better value price from us.
• Planned price changes.
• Up and coming, or last minute changes to any terms and conditions etc.

It is MUCH faster and easier to update this news blog than it is to update the web pages. That doesn't mean to say that the web pages won't be getting updated. It just means that updated news will find it's way into here first, and if that news is about a one-off special offer then it could mean that we might be sold out before we even get around to altering the web pages !
