Accessories for Forts and Climbing Frames

Assault Course - Designed to add even more climbing fun to the fort models. The height is dependent on the swing-arm height of the main play structure. The assault course is 90cm wide, with a scramble net on one side and a climbing wall (6 foot-holds) on the other side. This unit fits on the end of the Swing-Arm and may require the removal of one set of swings in some cases. This is desdinged to be used in conjunction with a swing arm support and is not suitable as a stand-alone unit.

Rubber Swing Seat - Black rubber seat with internal metal plates, galvanised clasps and polyhemp ropes. Seat size is 178 x 448 x 26 mm. This seat can be used instead of the standard wooden seat supplied, or if for home-made play equipment two Steel Swing bolt hangers ATJE 81110 (which have carabineer fittings) will be needed.

Monkey Swing - A heavy, high quality monkey swing with 4mm thick metal insert. The seat is 280mm in diameter, and attached to a polyhemp rope, which is fully adjustable from 1.8m to 2.5m.

Rubber Swing Seat with Metal Chains - Black heavy duty rubber seat with internal metal plates and galvanised steel chains. the chain is designed to EN71 safety standards to prevent small fingers being trapped witin the links. The cain is adjustable from 1.9m to 2.5m.

Rubber Wrap-Around / Sling Swing Seat - Black rubber swing seat with metal inserts bonded into te rubber for attaching the two polyhemp ropes. Ropes are fully adjustable from 2m to 2.6m.

Horizontal Tyre Swing & Ropes - Rubber second hand tyre, fitted with two strong polyhemp rope-sets, 12 mm in diameter. Galvanised steel M10 fixings attach the ropes to the tyre. This tyre swing can be fitted in place of the standard wooden swing. However, because of the increased load inposed we recommend that the tyre swing be fitted to the hangers closest to the tower. For home-made play equipment two Steel Swing bolt hangers ATJE 81110 (which have carabineer fittings) will be needed.

Pendulum Tyre Swing & Rope - Rubber second hand tyre, fitted with a strong polyhemp rope, 12 mm in diameter. Galvanised steel M10 fixing attaches the rope to the tyre. This tyre swing can be fitted in place of the standard wooden swing. However, because of the increased load inposed we recommend that the tyre swing be fitted to the hanger closest to the tower. For home-made play equipment one Steel Swing bolt hanger ATJE 81110 (which have carabineer fittings) will be needed.

2.5m Green Wave Slide - Heavy duty one-piece HDPE slide with a smooth positioning edge for correct placement on the platform. Attaches to the platform with two countersunk screws (not included). Width at the top of the slide is 500 mm. This slide is designed to fit a platform height of 1200 mm (4 foot) and measures out 2200 mm along the ground.

Width at the top of the slide is 500 mm. This slide is designed to fit a platform height of 1500 mm (5 foot) and measures out 2500 mm along the ground.

Monkey Bars / Climbing Frame - Based around the Climbing Frame design, the sturdy horizontal support beams (9cm x 9cm square) are fitted with substantial ash hardwood rungs 4cm in diameter. One beam is drilled for and supplied with TWO PAIRS of swing hangers should you wish to attach swings to the Bars. The measurements show the attachment of the monkey bars accessory to the Wendy House / Fort and Twin Basic Forts, and also apply to the single basic forts (1, 2, 3) and Twin Large Forts. The width of the monkey bars accessory for the Basic and Larger Forts is 83cm, and 60cm for the Wendy House / Fort. If your children are over 8 years of age and you have 2 swings attached we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that a pair of our ground anchors be attached to the ends of the lateral stabiliser (the ladder end of the bars) for additional safety.

Wooden Rope Ladder - Polyhemp ropes with wooden rungs, this unit clips onto the swing hangers already attached to the swing arm. For home-made play equipment two Steel Swing bolt hangers ATJE 81110 (which has a carabineer fitting) will be needed. Length approximately 2.4m

Steel Swing Bolt Hanger (Pair) - Galvanised swing or rope hanger with a nylon bearing and spring loaded carabineer hook. Length 140mm. Fitted with two nuts and a plain flat washer. M12 size.

Wooden Swing Seat - Broad pinewood seat (size 450 x 185 mm x thickness 16 mm. Complete with steel fasteners and 12mm diameter polyhemp ropes. For home-made play equipment two Steel Swing bolt hangers ATJE 81110 (which have carabineer fittings) will be needed.

Telescope - Made from durable plastic and fixed using the four hexagonal screws included. Dimensions: Length 305mm

Wendy House / Fort Clatterbridge - Designed for the Wendy House / Fort, this bolts on in place of the existing access ladder. The ladder is then re-attached to the other end of the clatterbridge.

This bridge can also be adapted to join the Basic Fort or Larger Fort to the Wendy House / Fort.

Clatterbridge for the Basic Fort - Used to join two of the Basic Forts together, enabling you to buy a single fort system today and buy another for at a later date. Then you can connect them up with this.

Picnic Table - This picnic table and wooden bench seat fits across the width of the fort tower (90 cm). The seat is approximately 35 cm from the ground and the table 40 cm above the seat.

Wendy House / Fort Scramble Net - This scramble net bolts onto the side of the Wendy House / Fort. By being next to the Rock Climbing Wall it provides an alternative access to the cabin.

Spiralok Ground Anchors (Pair) - These ground anchors are 45mm across and capable (in average loam or dry sandy soil) of holding up to 350kg each. With each bracket and spiral-lock is provided a 50mm stainless steel wood-screw to attach the bracket to an upright. The spiral-lock is then fed into the slot in the bracket and firmly tapped into the ground until the head reaches the bracket..
